Prisoners of Faith – Resistance Is Useless
6 piece metal outfit Prisoners of Faith have released their debut EP “Resistance Is Useless” through Buffalo Productions. Hailing from Perth Western Australia the band have recently been hovering in the top 10 of the metal charts on Triple J’s Unearthed, with their title track reaching number 1 in just its 2nd week. Bringing back the roots of old school metal their EP launch in August will feature a collection of new and old songs, including the EP in its entirety.
The EP consists of 4 original songs from the band. With a 3 guitar line up Prisoners of Faith provide a combination of high energy guitar work, melodic vocals, thunderous bass lines and dynamic drumming. Drawing from influences such as Iron Maiden, Metallica and Megadeth there is already an excitement about the release.
“Awesome, sounds like old school Metallica”

The band’s EP launch at The Civic on August 27th is sure to be a memorable show. Playing with their mates from Crankenstein, the band will also be supported by local metal acts Pale As Ashes and Hellious. With the crowd involvement an integral part of all Prisoners of Faith’s shows, their fast paced, action packed performance is sure to turn a few heads.
EP’s and merchandise will be available for sale on the night.
