Saturday 28th March @ Capitol
TICKETS ON SALE NOW
With the East Coast conquered, Sugar Army’s New Hunting Grounds national tour, a co-headline with fellow Perth rockers and good mates Harlequin League heads home for a massive show at Capitol on Saturday 28th March, with support from Adelaide’s Leader Cheetah, who have just enjoyed feature album of the week honours on triple j.
The show will act as a launch for Sugar Army’s riff ready first single ‘Acute’ from their forthcoming debut album out mid-year. The single is currently available as a free download on the triple j website. While Harlequin League have a new EP ‘I Don’t Do Friends’ out March 28, and Leader Cheetah bring their debut album ‘The Sunspot Letters’ to WA for the first time.
Multiple WAMi Award nominees Sugar Army spent much of 2008 honing their live show supporting artists like Interpol, Gyroscope, COG, Little Birdy, Eskimo Joe, and Children Collide; while their debut EP Where Do You Hide Your Toys did wonders with their hit single ‘...And Now You’re Old Enough, I Think That You Should Know...’
Harlequin League earned respect from the masses with their debut EP We Used To Be Gods, Now We're So Plain, featuring the track ‘Again and Again’, and ended last year as a triple j picked Next Crop artist and J Award nominee in the Unearthed category.
Do not miss your chance to see Sugar Army and Harlequin League - two of Perth’s finest young rock acts – along with Adelaide’s brightest new prospect.
