BLACK MARKET RHYTHM co return to W.A.
After a huge turn out in WA last year, including packed shows at Perth’s Indi Bar and at Settlers, Black Market Rhythm Co. (B.M.R.co) are arriving on a jet plane in early April to bounce around for a few shows in WA!
The boys have been busy touring, hitting Victoria this month playing and luckily scraping through the fires while heading to a gig in Bendigo.
Singer Chris Ernst says: “It was lethal, I’ve never seen anything like it, and I had think that we were lucky to get thru it without getting hurt.”
The band got to the gig to find it had been cancelled because of the fires and headed back to Melbourne to play the St Kilda festival.
Meantime the guys have been writing and recording material for a new album after the success of their debut album, Low-Fi Records, Hi-Fi Radio. Lo Fi Records ... had 5 songs played across Triple J and saw the band playing Woodford Festival and Big Day Out in 08 and running up and down the Eaast Coast with Rogerthat and The Beautiful Girls.
Right now though, B.M.R.co are itching to test out some of their new tunes!
Get on your dancing boots as B.M.R.co head into town to belt out their mash up of rootsy, indie-pop tunes at a venue near you!
