In March Australian audiences will finally be able to witness this enigmatic artist when she performs in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide as well as appearing live at this year’s MTV Music Awards on her first ever Australian tour.
Graceful and emotive but quirky and charming her unique voice has garnered her a reputation as a stunning performer and acclaim that stretches far outside the limits of her hometown of Adelaide. This Adelaide pop superstar whose smoky voice and glorious songcraft have captivated the world, and will do the same for Australia audiences. After initially relocating to the UK Sia settled in New York where she has been quietly collecting a legion of fans. Audiences have been captivated by Sia’s the lazy tempos and shuffling beats that combine with her smoky voice and mesmerising personality to produce her own seductive brand of dysfunction.
First rising to prominence as the vocalist for UK act Zero 7, Sia has since defined herself as a performer with a style and presence that is all her own through her striking solo live shows. She’s enchanted full houses across America with her bright, cheerful humour, a brass-plated voice, and some damn fine songs. Exploding on stages bursting with colour and fun, Sia’s live shows are like child's fluorescent drawing coming to life, her songs jumping around and dancing their way into your head.
