Down at the Rosemount on Wednesday night November 04 we witnessed Return To Paris.

Second gig of the night and the venue is starting to get warmed up and waiting to see what Return To Paris has to offer.

Return To Paris hit the stage and opened up with some raw music.

Offering the audience their throaty energetic music the floor started to move and bounce, long hair being thrown from the heads of the people thoroughly enjoying the thrashing music.

Guitarists letting it all go and getting a little crazy and just having fun with the band and the audience.

Another gig coming up soon, so catch these guys before...

Tell us a bit about Return to Paris.

We are a five piece post-hardcore band formed in late 2007. We've all been musos for close to 10 years and played in different bands prior to RTP. The members are: Jason - Lead vocals, Justin - Guitar/Vocals, Jef - Guitar/Vocals, Drew - Drums, Peter - Bass.

What is your most memorable gig and why?

Every gig is different and each one has its own feel. We've honestly enjoyed every show we've played, but I think road trips always give us a little more energy, so I'm going to say the Triple J One Night Stand after party at Collie Hotel...that was a riot.
 
What drives your band to continue playing?

We love music. I know it's simple. It's just too much fun to ever give up.
 
Where does the band get its energy?

When we're on stage we let go of everything else that's going on, get a lil crazy, and just enjoy ourselves. That's what music is about.

What do you think of the Perth live music scene?

The local scene here still isn't as well supported as it is in the Eastern States, but it seems over the last few years the Perth scene is rapidly increasing, so hopefully it keeps going that way and more and more kids want to get out and see more bands and get more involved. I look forward to that.
