WA Gig Guide reviewers will come to you and/or your premises to conduct a review on your request. We are currently composing reviews for Entertainers and Live Entertainment venues.

Why can a review do for me/us?

Having a review conducted by WA Gig Guide will allow you or your venue to obtain a large amount of exposure for people interested in you or your venue. All reviews by WA Gig Guide are placed in areas of our website that receive the greatest amounts of hits.

A review allows your fans, followers, listeners, patrons and/or guests to read more about who you are and what you do. By having a review you are letting these people know that you want them to see, hear or visit you.

WA Gig Guide is proud to promote local WA bands and to assist we offer a CD review service free of charge to the entertainer. To enable us to conduct a CD review we ask that you provide a minimum of one (1) new release CD and a minimum of one (1) pre-released CD. This enables us to hear your previous work and compare it with your new release.

All reviews conducted by WA Gig Guide are of a positive nature and the reviews are designed to assist you in reaching your target audience.

How much does it cost?

At this point in time there is no charge, as such. There are terms and conditions associated with all reviews. Click here for the terms and conditions.

What times are you available for reviews?

We are usually available 7 days a week from Midday to 12:00am for all reviews. If we are required outside of this time a fee may be incurred. Click here for the terms and conditions.

Are your reviewers age restricted?

No, our reviewers are over 18 and can review any live entertainer (adult or child orientated), performers or venues that is requested of us.

Do you conduct reviews for all regions of WA?

Currently we will conduct reviews in the following areas of WA: Perth, Rockingham, Mandurah, Pinjarra, Joondalup, Lancelin, Toodyay and York and all suburbs and towns within these boundaries.

If you are in a region of WA that is not mentioned above we can conduct a review given that a minimum of 3 venues and 3 live entertainers can be reviewed in a space of 3 consecutive days. Terms and conditions apply to regional reviews. Click here for the terms and conditions.

What if I need to cancel a review booking?

If you wish to cancel a review booking please contact our office during business hours or or e-mail us here. Review bookings cancelled on the same day as the review was to take place will incur a fee. Click here for the terms and conditions. Please give as much notice as possible when cancelling reviews.

What happens after the review has been completed?

Once your review has been completed it will be slotted in line of the growing reviews. All reviews remain in the active areas of the WA Gig Guide for a minimum period of 30 days. During this time and after the expiry date the review will be accessible from our Entertainer's Reviews page located here. Any reviews conducted will also appear on your "bio" page if completed.

What are your terms?

Our terms will change periodically, if you have already had a review conducted and would like another, please be sure to read our terms again prior to requesting your review. The following terms 1 through to 4 are NOT "set in concrete" and we ARE open to suggestions.

1. Hotel/Restaurant/Bar/Club Venue Reviews: WA Gig Guide will review live venues at a minimal cost to your business. We request that a maximum of 2 meals and VIP free entry is provided as a good gesture for our staff conducting a review for you. Our reviewers will provide their own transport unless a previous arrangement has been made. In the event that you wish not to have your restaurant/food service reviewed or you simply don't have a food service, we then only request that VIP free entry is provided.

Reviewers will conduct a review of your venue as outlined in your Review Submission Form. There is no time constraint on the time of a review, but we generally allow up to 4 hours per review. If photos are taken by our reviewers we will require your written consent (prior to the review taking place) to utilise these photos on our website and they will remain the property of WA Gig Guide.

2. Live entertainer/Performer/Band Reviews: WA Gig Guide will review live entertainers, Performers and Bands at a minimal cost to you. If your review is to include witnessing your performance (which is advised), we request that the venue provides us with a maximum of 2 VIP free entry as a good gesture for our staff conducting a review for you. Our reviewers will provide their own transport unless a previous arrangement has been made.

Reviewers will conduct a review of your performance as outlined in your Review Submission Form. There is no time constraint on the time of a review, but we generally allow up to 1 hour per review. If photos are taken by our reviewers we will require written consent from you and the venue (prior to the review taking place) to utilise these photos on our website and they will remain the property of WA Gig Guide.

3. Regional Live performer/Venue reviews: The above two terms apply to regional reviews, with the addition of a $200 fee (for venues in a 350km radius of Perth, and a minimum of 3 venues/bands can be reviewed in a consecutive 3 day period.

For venues/bands that are outside of the 350km radius of Perth, please contact us and discuss your requirements and what you have on offer.

4. Special Reviews: If you require a special review that does not fall in the categories above please contact our office during business hours or e-mail us here.

5. Cancellation Fees: A cancellation fee of $25 will apply to any booked review that is cancelled on the day that the review is to take place.

6. CD Reviews: WA Gig Guide is proud to promote local WA bands and to assist we offer a CD review service free of charge to the entertainer. How do I arrange for a review?

Requesting a review is very simple. All you need to do is complete our online submission located here.

Once your submission form has been received, a WA Gig Guide reviewer will contact you via the means specified on your form.
