Ziggy New Generation - "Senegal Down Under " CD Review

Ziggy Mabeye Diagne (Ziggy Bey Jan) releases his latest music through his new identity Ziggy New Generation in the form of a creative CD titled "Senegal Down Under".

"Senegal Down Under" is an eclectic mix of instruments not usually heard here in Perth, some of these instruments include djembe, sabar, tama, shaker, kora and congas. This CD brings the music of Senegal in Africa to our west coast, providing an upbeat, body moving experience to the aural organs.

Ziggy lends us his vocals through this CD, allowing us to hear the creativity of his homeland's music. A great mix of Senegalese music from various artists performing and including WA's own Julian Silburn on the Didjeridu.
