Zigatango formed in early 2006, the band has accumulated a diverse repertoire which includes arrangements of fiery Gypsy melodies from Eastern Europe, together with the tangos of the Argentinean Astor Piazzolla – combining the irresistible energy of traditional dance music with a sense of melancholy, drama and passion.
With occasional forays into folk and jazz (and even 70s rock), Zigatango is bound to appeal to anyone with a taste for the exciting and unusual.
