Formed in 2007, The Midnight Condition has evolved through several creative and stylistic guises to become one of Australia’s most exciting new alternative rock acts.
Originally formed as a live outlet for guitarist/vocalist Ben Court’s various studio projects, the band - including guitarist Brett Hobson, bass guitarist Raymond Simmons and drummer Melanie-Jayne Court - has since become a unique musical force in it’s own right, combining elements of classic and alternative rock, grunge, psychedelia and the blues.
Influenced by a wide variety of artists and musical experiences, the band’s songs present a fresh and inventive sound and style that is immediately both original yet familiar to the listener. The group's recent live performances have been well-received by the public and their rapidly growing fan base, as were a pair of TV appearances on local variety show The Couch.
Now, armed with new material and an uncompromising determination to be heard, The Midnight Condition is preparing to take on the world as they work to promote their new single Sidewinder, and plan for the recording of their debut album Walking In The Light Of Shadows (due for release in early 2010).
