Having formed in late 2005 THE CREPTTER CHILDREN have wasted no time in beginning to work on their first industry demo along side producer/engineer John Villani (BB King, Dave Hole, Marcia Hines, Billy Thorpe, Chris Rea, Dom Mariani, The Baby Animals, Lash).
With all band members originating from Perth Australia THE CREPTTER CHILDREN have used strategy and careful planning to aim the band at making more than a little dent in the music scene. With a fresh and growing repertoire under their belts, THE CREPTTER CHILDREN are always keen to hit the stage and add to the already large and loyal support base they have built under previous bands, Majestica, The Rosas and Aeolian Sands.
THE CREPTTER CHILDREN have created a live stage performance which demonstrates the cinematic energy and excitement of their music. Emphasizing on strong melodies and catchy hooks THE CREPTTER CHILDREN combine sounds ranging from some of their favourite bands such as Garbage, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, Rob Zombie, Cradle Of Filth and Rammstien.
Iballa Chantelle is head songwriter for the band. With all lyrics and melody ideas passed on to N8OR for drum and synth programming THE CREPTTER CHILDREN work closely to perfect their songs until they feel they have captured the exact feel that was originally conceived by Iballa.
Both Iballa and N8OR run their own booking agency SPOOKSHOW ENTERTAINMENT. Having organised band events around Perth to help promote not only THE CREPTTER CHILDREN but also other bands that are looking to get a start in the music industry. Events include Metal Skool, Big Night Out 2006, Club LIVE!, Halloween Town 2006, The Sunday Sessions and many more. Venues for these events include Metropolis Nightclub Fremantle, The Heat Nightclub, The Castle and The Lookout.
