Seeing Red is a unique band.. A band which has combined the 'Original Punk' style with melodic riffs, fast beats and insane shreds. With the aspects of Metal Combining with Punk.. There is no doubt Seeing Red will surely get your heart pumping..
With the Band first starting in Mid-Year 2007 Seeing Red's Reputation has increased rapidly. The mix of Punk and Metal has led the band to its first gig held by Subspace Events at The Castle Venue back in September the 7th. Good Feedback has led the band to a Recording Status and a shit load of more shows.
How did it Start?
Seeing Red started Mid-Year 2007, The Original band members and creators of the band consist of both Thomas Murphy (Bass/Vocals) and Ryan Kirkpatrick (Guitar/Vocals). Playing covers together they both learnt their instruments by tabs and ear.
The next member to join the band was Luca Bei (Drums) currently in another band, Luca jammed with the boys playing covers where then an early version of the band was formed. The Band was making originals and playing covers.
Joseph Lewis (Lead Guitar) was currently also in another band. When Joseph joined the band he brought with him the aspects of Metal with him.. Adding insane solo's to punk has changed Seeing Red as a whole.
With good feedback from a concert played at a school event.. Seeing Red was then formed not long after. Luca and Joseph both left their bands to join Seeing Red. With the help of Trev from 'Subspace Events' Seeing Red is currently playing shows so be sure to come check us out and give us more feedback.
Playing music is all about fun.. and not fame to us.. were all easy going guys and were not one of those aggro demanding cunts like in other bands..
as the band now knows their direction and have high hopes they will begin recording their original songs and will be releasing a demo in the next month or so. be sure to check us out.
