Labeled "one of the best live unsigned bands I know in the world" (Kit Benge Bandpasses.com) Rain is a high energy, all original, 5 piece “rock machine” that hails from Perth, Western Australia.
Rain has strong hooks that feature a great band playing behind cool lyrics and tight powerful rock music. Coupling melodic, guitar driven rock with exuberant and interactive stage shows, their incendiary performances have sparked positive reviews in the USA and Australia.
Their punchy, infectious brand of rock has drawn comparison with INXS, Three Doors Down, Matchbox 20 and the Bare Naked Ladies. Make no mistake about it Rain is a powerful rock band that champions positive emotions in a “family friendly” environment and yet is still is capable of rocking out the club and university circuits.
In 2007 Rain began recording their debut album with veteran producer John Villani. With the album completed in early 2008, George Marino from Sterling Sound Studios in New York was engaged to master the finished product.
3 tracks have since been uploaded to the JJJ Unearthed Website where they have received significant downloads, airplay and listens catapulting their song All My Life into No. 38 in the JJJ Unearthed Charts for Australia.
To capitalise on this recording, a grueling touring schedule is planned in 2009 which will encompass: Australia, USA, China, Japan and Europe (including UK/Holland/France/Croatia/Austria/Germany/Ireland)
