Laser Meteor is a new and upcoming band from Mandurah, Western Australia. The band consists of 3 early high school friends who were heading in completely different directions: James Waldon studying to become a history teacher; Ray Mehegan an apprentice butcher and Ben Waters studying chiropractic science. The trio got back together in early 2008 each bringing their vastly different music tastes of rock, alternative and pop to create the original sound that is Laser Meteor. The music comprises of James's vocals and guitar; Ray on drums and Ben's keyboard/bass; combining original ideas, beats and riffs with easy listening rhythm and melody. Successfully recording their first demo mid-2008 the band are now focussing their efforts on promoting their music and being heard.
