Kontraband continue to play their brand of original power blues and are currently receiving positive feedback and airplay from many different Blues sites, “personas” and radio programs in Australia and around the globe. Kontraband performed four times at the 2008 Bridgetown Blues Festival, culminating with a blues blitzkrieg on Saturday night at Scott’s Tavern. This five-piece is composed of powerful vocals, mesmerising electric and lap steel guitar, old school harp, funky soulful bass and terrific drums.
