Take a love of the ocean and surfing and combine it with a passion for blues and traditional forms of music and you have ‘Songs about Water’, the debut release from Marcus Bancroft. The creation of ’Songs about Water’ began in mid 2001, after Marcus decided to go back and explore the styles of music that he first loved. The result can only be described as a sweet blend of country, blues, rock and folk.
