Dr Brown are a four-piece blues band from Perth, Western Australia. The Group originally formed in 1991 with Brian Mason on Guitar, Paul Peake on bass and lead vocal, John Tuke on harmonica and Bart Hayes on drums. The current line-up includes Brian Mason and Paul Peake, with John Kerr (harmonica) and Paul Long (drums).

The band has built an extensive repertoire covering material from artists as diverse as Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lonnie Mack, Junior Wells, Little Charlie and the Night Cats and George Thorogood, along with a growing list of original songs.

Dr Brown believe the essence of the 'blues' is sincerity and the ethos is reflected in their approach. Their sound is simple, honest and distinct and they are never afraid to put their particular stamp on classic and contemporary blues tunes alike.
